About Al-Dagal factories LTD for leather tanning and leather products

For over 30 years of quality experience and our customers due care, Al-Dagal factorieshas been considered as one of the leading factories for leather products and tanning in Saudi Arabia.

Starting from Medina for more than sixty years,was the actual launch of the first and beginning of the company by Sheikh / Abdul Qadir Asaad Dkl. Where Sheikh Abdul Qadir Asaad Dkl who belongs to a long-standing family  in the field of breeding sheep and cattle farms in Al-madina – started his trade for raw leather across the kingdom, and he set up individual institutions in the management of slaughterhouses and trade of raw leather in Medina, then he turned to participate in an institution for the manufacturing and tanning leather in Lebanon. With the close out of his business in Lebanon, he turned to leather industry development in the Kingdom by entering the tanning operations in 1403 AH / 1982 AD  and the expansion of his activity in the leather trade for export to outside the Kingdom to many Arab and European countries, where he set up and manage all of Dagal slaughterhouses and Al-Dagal factories  for tanning leather in Medina, Throughout the ages all of his sons (Talal, Ghazi, Saud, Khalid and Sami) helped him with all of this in advanced stages of age.

The establishment of Sheikh Abdul Qadir and his sons of Tiba factory for leather in 1409 AH / 1988 AD is a modern and powerful start for the leather industry in Saudi Arabia where factory products strongly participated in the global international exhibitions and written down their name honored the owner of quality in leather products in the kingdom and the world and have had an effective impact in pushing the industrial and commercial activity in the Kingdom, where in a short time it became one of the top 100 trading companies in non-oil exporter in the Kingdom in 1416/1995.

In 1422/2001 Sheikh / Abdul Qader integrated previous individual institutions into a single entity under the name of (Dagal factory company for tanning leather and leather products) a limited liability company owned by him and his sons, and with Sheikh / Abdul Qader retirement to trade in 1423/2002, he decided to transfer his company shares ownership to his children.

With the shift in the company of the second generation sons it has been expanding in many areas, including the creation and exportation of raw materials for medical supplies, wool, manufacture of leather accessories and supplies, as well as for the acquisition and development of dates farms which is famous in Madinah region.

In 1436 AH / 2015 AD with the desire of the continuity and sustainability of the business in company and smooth transition to the following generations, the shareholders and the company’s board took decision to restructure the company, as well as to adopt higher transparency and corporate governance standards in addition to the training programs provided to workers, as well as the adoption of sustainable programs of social responsibility, the company stands as one of the largest companies in its field and its community service.
